RULES OF CONDUCT

The area of ​​the “Žumberak – Samoborsko gorje” Nature Park is protected by law. All visitors need to cooperate with the staff of the Nature Park in order to preserve the original biological, geological and cultural authenticity of the protected area and follow these rules:

• do not damage trees and other woody vegetation
• do not frighten, harass, capture, hunt or kill any type of animal
• do not damage nests, hollows, dens and other animal habitats
• do not camp and light fires, except in clearly designated places
• do not destroy or collect geological, fossil, archaeological or other valuable finds
• maintain order and cleanliness in the Park and dispose your waste outside the Park when returning home
• respect the private property of the inhabitants of the protected area
• do not damage protected cultural monuments and other buildings in the Park
• do not create noise or light pollution except in case of danger
• do not pollute watercourses and springs
• do not film or photograph for commercial purposes except with the permission of the Public Institution “Žumberak – Samoborsko gorje Nature Park”
• engage in scientific research only with the permission of the Ministry and with the announcement to the Public Institution “Žumberak – Samoborsko gorje Nature Park”
• engage in specific sports activities such as sport climbing and paragliding only in designated places
• drive motorized vehicles exclusively on public and unclassified roads
• properly prepare before visiting the Park in order to reduce the threat to your own and others’ safety
• in contact with other users of the space and the local population behave kindly and considerately and
• cooperate with the employees of the Nature Park and adjust your behavior with the stated rules
